1961 - Best Actor Award in Japan  called the Konga Award for work in Laramie




1961 - Japanese Golden Order Of Merit - awarded to him by the Emperor and Empress of Japan. Robert was the first American to receive this award for his services to the Japanese Red Cross.




Robert won 5 Otto Awards for best actor in Germany 5 years in a row. The Otto is considered the equivalent of the Emmy. He won the silver in 1963, the Gold in 1964, the gold in 1965 the gold in 1966 and the bronze in 1967. He is immensely proud of these awards




1970 - Buffalo Bill Award for outstanding western entertainment.




August 10th 1974 - Huntsville Fire Dept - Outstanding Service Award for bringing recognition to the firefighting profession and for his support for emergency assistance personnel throughout the nation.


Hollywood Walk Of Fame


April 16th 1975 - Star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. “A dream come true”

Kanab Honoree




August 2002 - Honoree - Kanab Western Legends Round Up - awarded a key to the town of Kanab plus a plaque was raised in Bob's honour on the sidewalk.





Star Halo Award


December 6th 2002 - Southern California Motion Picture Council Golden Star Halo Award Of Special Merit for Outstanding Contribution To The Entertainment Industry


Cowboy Spirit Award


2004 - Cowboy Spirit Award - National Festival Of The West, Phoenix


The Hunt


March 18th 2006 - Bronze sculpture of Jess Harper on Traveller. Awarded to Robert by The Robert Fuller Fandom and The National Festival Of The West in recognition of his years of work in the entertainment industry


Silver Spur Award


12th October 2007 - Silver Spur Award



12th April 2008 - Inducted into the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, Oklahoma, Hall Of Great Western Performers. This is the most important award to Robert as it recognised his iconic status within the genre – and he is still smiling. The picture to the left show Robert's plaque which hangs in the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, plus  his actual Wrangler Award.  




12th October 2013 - Spirit Of The Cowboy Lonestar Legacy Award. Robert was the first recipient of this new award which recognised his status in the entertainment industry as a true western hero.


In 2014 Robert and Jennifer and their friend Ken Stormer hosted a fun day for 15 Wounded Warriors along with their wives and children. While the Warriors enjoyed a day of shooting the wives and children visited Gainesville zoo. In the evening a banquet was held in honour of the Warriors.




On 27th October 2018 Robert was inducted into the Texas Trail Of Fame. This prestigious award is given to people who through their lifetime endeavours have helped to protect the Western Way Of Life.
