On 12th of April 2008 Robert Fuller was proud to be honoured by the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum when he was inducted into the Hall Of Great Western Performers. It is a place that he takes rightfully alongside other great actors of the western genre including John Wayne, James Stewart and Clint Eastwood.

Fans gathered from all around the world to be present at the awards ceremony and Robert graciously acknowledged their presence during his acceptance speech.

Robert was presented with a "Wrangler" which is a magnificent bronze statue of a cowboy on horseback. A plaque with his name has also been placed in the Hall of Great Western Performers
