Robert Fuller

Appearances

Robert has had a long and successful career in movies and television. He worked his way from "extra to "star" and that "star" status has endured for over 40 years. He is loved by fans worldwide and even though his appearances are fewer these days his fans still travel thousands of miles just to meet him. Below is a record of his work. Wade Harper 15th Jan 2000 This was a part that suited Robert Fuller down to the ground. He played an ex Texas Ranger on the trail of some jewel thieves that shot his daughter during a heist. Brilliant stuff !!

True Hollywood Story Himself 19th April 1999 Documentary about the life of actor James Stacey who lost an arm and a leg in a motor cycle accident.

Fishing Fever (TV)  Host  1981 - 1983 Deep sea fishing and diving series filmed completely in the Bahamas. 26 episodes altogether. This was one of a number of fishing shows that Robert Fuller presented.

Separate Ways  Woody  1981 Played the part of a happy go lucky friend of Tony Lo Bianco who was going through marriage difficulties. I may be biased but he stole the show
Jakes Way  Sheriff Jake Rudd 15th April 1980 This was a pilot Bob made that never got made into a series. Bob plays a sheriff going after the killer of a friend. This was a great Robert Fuller role and how on earth it did not become a series is a mystery to me.

To Say The Least Himself 3rd Oct 1977 With one word "bracelet" Robert guessed the clue "handcuffs." The host asked Robert why he guessed handcuffs. Robert said he was in them a lot.

The Dinah Shore Show Himself 1975 Robert was almost a regular on this show in 1975 with 5 guest appearances on : March 6th, April 21st, June 18th, August 6th and December 26th. On the December 26th show Dinah had the whole main cast of Emergency !!!!

The Gatling Gun Sneed 1973 Sneed was perhaps the baddest guy Robert has played. Excellent performance. Bob loved every minute of it.

Tod Im Roten Jaguar Der Charlie 1968 Played a gangster in German movie starring George Nadar.
Sinai Commandos Capt Yuri Littman  1968 Story about the 6 day Arab Israeli war which failed to get a cinema release in the UK due to its heavy political bias. Did get a video release however in the 80's. Good film.

German produced film made in Norway and Austria. Robert starred with the beautiful Marianne Hoffmann

 Clint  22nd Mar 1967 Another top quality TV western series probably made even more enjoyable as he was working with his close friend Doug McClure.
Return Of The Seven  Vin 1966 One of his finest, a great action packed western. sequel to The Magnificent 7
Incident At Phantom Hill Matt Martin 1966 Another brilliant film. This was Jess Harper on the Big Screen !!  Matt Martin sets out to recover gold stolen by the confederates in the civil war. Great stuff

Cooper Smith 1964 Destry is thrown out of a saloon into a horse tough and splashes a man stood at the hitching post. Destry stands up and the man faces him - it turns out to be his friend Cooper Smith.

Henry Detwilder 16th Jan 1962 An agriculturalist graduate in a South Vietnamese village is teaching the villagers to farm more efficiently, when North Vietnamese bring their wounded to the village and threaten to kill the villagers unless their casualties are saved.
Spartacus Soldier 7th Oct 1960 Robert did a fight scene with his friend stuntman Red West. He was starring in Laramie at the time so did this just for fun. He was uncredited and had to be disguised with a beard so that he wasn't recognised.

Mike Hammer (TV)                         Episode : "Park The Body"

Roy Barlow 2nd April 1959 Roy Barlow and his Mom have a good racket going on in parking cars but Joe Case wants part of the action. Roy kills Joe and Mike Hammer is called in to find out who the murderer is.
Mike Hammer (TV)                                      Episode : I Ain't Talkin Jimmy Nelson 7th Feb 1959 Myra goes to Mike afraid her brother Jimmy and her  husband have gotten in too deep with gangsters.
Lawman (TV)
Episode : "The Friend"
Buck Harmon 28th June 1959 Coincidentally this series was based in Laramie. Good series too with John Russell and Peter Brown. Buck Harmon is part of a gang planning to rob Laramie's bank. When he discovers his old friend Johnny McKay is deputy he switches sides. He is killed trying to stop bank robbers. This is a great Robert Fuller part - but very sad.

Davey Carey 5th April 1959 Marshall Troop is after some outlaws when Davey Carey forces him into a gunfight. Davey is killed and his brothers want revenge.

Wyatt Earp (TV)
Episode : "The Judas Goat"
Deputy Marshall    Hank Drew 31st March 1959 Drew goes undercover to trap some cowhands who had become thieves after going down on their luck. His plan is to catch them and turn them over to Wyatt. Plays a real bad dude in this one.

 Jim Winfield  12th Jan 1959 Jim Winfield is the son of reformed gunfighter Cal Winfield. Jim is murdered by men trying to steal money he made from driving his fathers cattle to Cuchilla, New Mexico.

 Danny Mitchell  24th Oct 1958 Danny Mitchell goes to buy a ring for his girlfriend and the jeweler thinks he is being robbed. There is a scuffle and a gun goes off. Danny thinks he has killed the jeweler - but it is a mistake.
The Gray Ghost (TV)                      Episode : "Point Of Honor"          Episode 3 in 1st Series Dan Hatcher 11th Nov 1957 Early western series in which Robert Fuller guest starred. Angie Dickinson had her first part in that episode.
Brain From Planet Arous  Dan Murphy  1957 Cult sci fi movie - Bob was killed by the Brain early on in this film. However he steals the scenes he is in. Great performance.
Teenage Thunder  Maurie Weston  1957 Robert Fuller got his big break in this movie working with his pal Chuck Courtney. He played the bad guy - a teenage thug racer.
The Delicate Delinquent Stunts 1957 This was a Jerry Lewis comedy in which Bob doubled for Jerry in a fight scene.

Friendly Persuasion Soldier at fair 1956 This was Bob's first role in a movie with lines. He said "Bet you a dollar you can't do it again", although in every version I have seen his lines appear to have been cut.

Meet Me In Las Vegas Un-credited 1956 Bob played a dancer in one of his "extra" roles. Bob danced with Cyd Charisse and Johnny Brasher
Outpost In Space (TV) Astronaut 2nd Sept 1956 This was a sci fi TV series. Bob played an astronaut and was killed in the third episode
Strange Intruder  Prisoner Of War 1956 This movie starred Edmund Purdom and Ida Lupino. Bob had a good early speaking part. It was based upon the novel The Intruder
The Harder They Fall Extra 1956 This was fight movie with Humphrey Bogart and Rod Steiger, in which Bob was an extra
To Say The Least Himself ? Game Show
Gentlemen Prefer Blondes Un-credited 1953 Musical with Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell. Bob was a dancer in the chorus line.
Calamity Jane Un-credited 1953 Musical western. Bob was an extra who presented a singer with flowers on stage. Even got a brief centre screen position.
I Love Melvin Acrobatic Cheerleader Un-credited 1953

Musical with Debbie Reynolds. Bob was a dancer and did 2 numbers one of which was a specialty number with Debbie Reynolds

Come Back Little Sheba Extra 1952 Drama - Robert was an extra. The film starred Burt Lancaster.
