Laramie was blessed with some of the best music of any television western.

The Laramie theme composed by Cyril Mockridge takes you back to the old days of the west and the sweeping rolling hills.

In Season one Laramie started with a theme tune that while subject to different arrangements throughout its seasons was the real Laramie theme.

In addition to the original Laramie theme, there was another theme that was used for the first part of Season 2, and a theme used for an episode of Laramie that was originally planned as a spin off from the show entitled Defiance.

One other thing that is not so well known is that the Laramie theme also came with lyrics which were never used in the show.
