Why are we now running a

Robert Fuller Fandom Charity Project

Well here is the background to this project.

On 22nd December I made the following post in the Fandom

Hi Fandomers. I have a request which I hope everyone understands.

Recently and obviously due to the Christmas season Robert and Jennifer have received dozens of fabulous gifts from Fandom members. They are truly grateful and touched by the generosity of everyone in sending these gifts but sadly they have reached a point where they are simply running out of space to store everything. It is a fact that Robert and Jennifer keep everything that people send because they appreciate the effort and the kindness behind these gifts. But they are now asking that people not send anymore gifts to them as they cannot manage them.

They have suggested that if it is acceptable to Fandomers they will select a couple of charities and rather than send them a gift instead you make a donation in their name to the chosen charities.

Also can I please ask that you do not send anything to my address in Gainesville as I am not there and the poor owners of the property are having to deal with the packages.

Thank you everyone for your generosity and for your understanding.

The post received a tremendous response - and some questions.

First off I want to convey Robert and Jennifer’s thanks to everyone for the response we received. It looks like the idea of donating to Robert and Jennifer’s nominated charities is universally popular.

So this is real win for everyone.

A win for Robert and Jennifer as it helps solve their storage problem.

A win for the Fandom because you can still send your gift in the form of a charitable donation in the names of Robert and Jennifer Fuller.

A win for the charities because they will receive much needed and welcome income.

Not only that but now The Robert Fuller Fandom can make a real difference to worthwhile causes.

The selected charities are all charities that Robert and Jennifer

currently support.

Wounded Warrior Project

Wounded Warriors is a charity that is very close the the hearts of Robert and Jennifer. They not only donate to the charity but have also worked on projects to support these brave people.

You can donate by clicking the link below:

Shriner’s Hospitals For Children

St Jude Children’s Research Hospital

Foundation For The Junior Blind

Robert and Jennifer have done much to help Children across the world during their lives and continue to do so through these worthwhile organisations.

You can donate by clicking the links below:

ASPCA

Peaceful Valley Donkey Rescue

You all know that Robert and Jennifer love animals so it is not surprising to see that they support    2 animal charities. They actually own 2 donkeys, 2 horses and one cat - all of whom would also want to thank you!!

You can donate by clicking the links below:

Those are all of Robert and Jennifer’s nominated charities. Please go ahead and make your donation in their names.

Thank you for supporting these chosen charities.

I will upload a Certificate into The Fandom which you can download and record your donation.

This should then be emailed to

robertfullerfandom@gmail.com

I will keep a copy of all the certificates I receive and ensure that Robert and Jennifer are made aware of all of your donations.

Thank you for supporting this project.

We are still working to identify international charities for people not living in USA

Here’s the deal!!

The charities that Robert and Jennifer selected are all USA based charities and I have had requests from people who live outside of USA for charities in their home country.

So I want to follow that up now. Would those of you who live outside of the USA and would like to support a charity in your country in Robert and Jennifer's name would you please email me at

robertfullerfandom@gmail.com

Let me have your proposed charity (and obviously your country of residence).

Once I have all of the proposals in I will run them by Robert and Jennifer and see which ones they choose to have supported in their names.

Suggest we close this off at end January so - all emails to be with me by 31st Jan absolute latest.

And

This Question Was Raised

Can you still bring gifts to Festivals to give to Robert and Jennifer.

Yes that is fine. The difference being that I am at the Festivals with Robert and can take care of the shipping and all of the waste packaging etc that goes with the gifts. As you can imagine the packaging is a big problem for them.

That’s all the news on the Charity Project for now

I will update in every Newsletter and of course keep an eye out for posts in The Fandom
