In the series’ final episode, Charlie Wooster tells Bill Hawks the story of his younger years working at Pierce’s Bend frontier trading post. It’s a tale of two very different brothers, Jarbo and Adam Pierce, who strongly disagree on how to treat the local Indians. At the end of Charlie’s story, Bill says this is the last time he’s going to listen to Charlie ‘cause he always gets them lost.
