Air Date - 5th October 1956

Episode: The Comeback

Role – 3rd Soldier

Air Date: 11th November 1957

Episode: Point of Honor

Role: Dan Hatcher

Dan Hatcher (Robert – credited as Bob Fuller) is a confederate soldier riding with Mosby’s raiders.  The year 1957 saw Robert make the transition from extra work to acting roles – including The Brain from Planet Arous and Teenage Thunder. The part of Dan Hatcher is small but Robert is easily recognisable on camera and has several lines of dialogue. You can almost imagine Hatcher as a young Rebel clad Jess Harper. Director Hollingsworth Morse later worked with Robert on Laramie, Emergency! and The Virginian.

Air Date: 22nd April 1958

Episode: The Pipeline:

Role: Cobber Bannon

Cobber Bannon (Robert Fuller) is a surly, belligerent, and somewhat simple young man who lives in the protective shadow of his small-time criminal brother, Joker. When a cholera outbreak sweeps through San Francisco as a result of contaminated water, Cobber falls victim to the disease. Robert’s performance is heart-wrenching as a vulnerable, frightened Cobber faces certain death.  During filming, Robert, feeling tired and worried he wasn’t giving his best, credits his director for the success of this scene. His words of encouragement enabled Robert to stay focused during the many takes required to capture different camera angles.  The part of Cobber is quite different from Robert’s later roles.  Instead of a six gun, Cobber is armed with two boomerangs and a knife. Series star, Richard Coogan, later appeared in six episodes of Laramie.

Panic was a 30 minute show that changed its title to No Warning for the second series.

It appears from the storylines it was a thriller with some supernatural elements in some of the stories

It started with a narrator who would introduce a character and tell the audience that in a certain number of minutes this character would be in “panic” - and so the story would start.

Surviviors storyline:

After a shipwreck in mid-ocean, Gil Nolan takes command of a small lifeboat  capable of carrying a maximum of 10 passengers. With 15 people aboard,

Nolan must make a difficult decision. and order several people overboard.

Man Against Crime AKA Follow That Man was a crime series running in the 50's.  Robert Fuller is credited as appearing in an episode titled "Where's Mimi", which aired 16th May 1954. Sources have told this site that there was in fact a different actor called Robert Fuller who appeared in “Where’s Mimi”. However this is unlikely as Robert had tied up the name tightly so no other actor could use it. It is more likely that history has got distorted and his name has been credited in the show when in fact he never appeared in it. Robert himself has confirmed he did not do this show and was in Korea when it was made.
